The Signs of Change:

You know that cooler weather has arrived when your kitchen table looks like this:

Had I taken a wide shot, you would have also seen the pile of fleeces and coats laying behind these boxes.  Which, by the way, were all pulled out one Saturday morning, on our way to a soccer tournament.  Why can't the changing weather give us advance notice?  This "change on a whim" thing just causes chaos, and a frantic search for gloves, hats, scarves and coats, while simultaneously eating breakfast and getting out the door in a timely manner. 

At least we are now ready for winter.  One of these days I may remember to put the fans in storage and gather up those decorative Easter eggs, still sitting in a bowl from spring.  :::cough:::
