Company Girl Coffee

Good morning Company Girls.  It is good to be back and talk with you.  Due to life, life always seems to get in the way of, well, life, I've been absent from the Company Girl circle, for awhile.

This is only a quick stop, as I will need to leave soon.  Yesterday, I (finally) was called to sub at the kid's school, as library clerk, which is a half day gig.  At the end of the day they asked me to return today.  It is not a bad way to spend your afternoon, checking in and returning books to the shelves.  It is fun to be around the kids, many I already know since they have been in the same classes as my children.

The school year has passed it's half-way mark, and I am looking around the house wondering "have I accomplished anything this year"?  See, this is the first year all 3 kids are in school, full time, and my goal was to finish painting (haven't done it), clean out closets (a few), and job hunt (where do you begin?).

I need some motivation, and maybe give up Facebook for Lent.  Ideas, help, words of encouragements, oh, and job offers, I'll also take those;)

Well ladies, it is time for me to head out.  Thanks for your help, I always enjoy hearing from you.  Later today, I hope to make it around to everyone else's blogs, it is always so much fun to sit and read about all the other Company Girls.

Now, when you leave, head back to Rachel Anne's for more Company Girl Coffee time.  Also, as she requested, I'm adding this link for the blog hop.  OK, I confess, I'm not sure what I'm doing here, so I will link it as told, and see what happens.

Happy weekend everyone.

Well, I bet if you hurry you can get that painting done and those closets cleaned out before the end of May. But, you may not get anything else done. :o) Good luck with the job hunt and may you find just what you would enjoy.

Blessings for a great weekend!

giving up facebook is such an interesting idea! i wouldn't have thought of it - but i always log on to see what people are up to, and then find myself bored and wasting time! i don't really do lent, but maybe i should limit facebook time so i have more productive time around the house. but does that then go for blog-reading time too? I'm never bored, but i spend a lot of time reading!

I really like the "giving up facebook for Lent" idea! I've been looking for work as well, and it's no easy task!
Hope you have a great weekend!

You sound so much like me...I always have big plans but life seems to get in the way! You have accomplished some things though, and you can be proud of that! have a great weekend.

Hmm advices? I was going to start looking for a job for when my daughter started kindergarden, instead I got pregnant and had another daughter a couple of months before school started. So I never even got to start looking for a job.
As of painting and cleaning out closets, take one task a week and work on it for 15 - 30 minutes at the time. That should make you able to do the closets at least.
As of facebook. I am a self professed Facebookaholic, but I am only on facebook once a week. I keep it down by having an app for my cellphone that gives me updates at all times, but has nothing else and only take about a minute to check a few times a day.
I hope you figure things out.
Just take this weekend off and enjoy it, then start anew on Monday.

Hmmmm...I am also wondering what to do when I grow up. I still have a few years to figure it out. Well, thanks for checking in and giving an update. Hopefully there will be more to come.

When I tend to look at the things I haven't done, I forget to see the things that I HAVE done. Okay, I haven't tidied out the closets, but I did some wonderful baking with the kids. I haven't put away the laundry yet, but we had fun throwing the clothes into sorting piles and being silly while doing it - and I showed my kids that it could be fun. AND they helped fold! That kind of thing.

It's easy to beat yourself up over the things that you haven't done yet. Oh so easy! But you ARE doing things all the time - worthwhile things :)

Enjoy your weekend ...
