Works For Me Wednesday

If you have ever bought stone bake ware from Pampered Chef then you also received a 3x3 brown plastic scraper. They are the recommended tool to scraping off baked-on-whatever.

They are also great for almost any other cleaning job, all over the house. They are used for any baked on item, on any bake or cooking ware. I use one to clean around my sink (around the seam with the counter) and also the faucet. They can be used for tiled showers. Scraping sticky stuff off of walls, tables, counters, ....

Now, you don't need to spend a fortune to have one of these versatile cleaning tools, unless you want an excuse to buy stoneware. The last time I looked in a Pampered Chef catalog you could purchase these little tools separately. Apparently Pampered Chef knows a good thing when they have it.

This most loved tool in my kitchen was an accidental find, I just wanted the stoneware. But, it certainly works for most of my cleaning needs. Do you have one of these scrapers? What do you use yours for?

***In searching for a picture of the scrappers I found "generic" pan scrapers, which cost much less and don't require a home party to purchase. I highly doubt the brand of scraper matters, they all accomplish pretty much the same thing ... cleanliness!

I have turned these into multi-function tools, as well. Thanks for sharing!

I have a bigger version of the pot scrapper that I use for scraping flour off the counter after rolling dough. It works a thousand times better than using a rag or spounge to clean it.
