If I Twittered

I don't Twitter. Nothing against Twitter, but I'm trying to spend less time on the computer, or on any other media related device for that matter. Which is why I also don't have a Facebook page (I spend too much time looking at Hubby's page.) There is also the learning curve factor. I would need to figure out how it works, and I'm not one with directions.

With that said, there are times when I think "if only I Twittered."

Take this past Tuesday. My Twitter box, or nest, or whatever it is called would have been Twitting every 10 minutes. It would go something like this:

Taking kids to a chamber music concert. Lord help me, and protect me if the audience turns against me and my noisy kids.

Concert has begun, and the kids are enraptured by the music. We may make it the full hour.

Scratch that. Harpsichordist just gave a V.E.R.Y. long description of the Baroque period. Can't fault him, being a historian and all, but the magic is lost.

Pretty sure lady in front of us has no kids. Probably thinking "When I have kids ..." Yeah, been there, done that. Take notes now for a good laugh later.

OK, there reaches a point when all you can do is laugh. Kids scrutching, yawning, stretching, lying on pew, on floor, on me. More stretching, more yawning.

We are leaving after this last set of songs. Pretty sure my time in here, and in the parking lot, are about to run out.

Crap! Those three songs were really short. Didn't even catch the pauses. She is already done and it is too late to sneak out.
