That Would Have Been Helpful

I've just spent the last hour fighting with my computer. Trying to print several .pdf files; either empty pages would come out of my printer or nada would happen. That is on top of filling out an application twice, because the first time I clicked on the "close" button instead of the "back" button, oops.

Finally, I decided to restart the computer. Earlier today the kiddies had used the computer to access the internet, and I'm not sure what it is about PBSKids.org or any other kid oriented sites, but my computer always runs slower afterwards. I'm so looking forward to when they can have their own computer. But then starts the whole management battle, and who gets to play on it, and for how long, and do we allow internet access on their computer. At least with my computer I can tell them "no, it's mind." Of course, I then receive a lecture on why it is nice to share, God likes it when we share, :::crickets chirping:::

Sorry, I digress. Anyway, it turns out my .pdf files are not printing because the Adobe application (or is it called a program?) needs updated. Really, must their be new updates every few months? I'm thinking, the next time they have an update, hold it, do absolutely nothing, keep developing until the next update and then send it all out at once.

And, I digress again. So, all those update notices I received from Adobe (and quickly deleted) were actually for my own good and could have saved me about 45 minutes.
