The other weekend our children stayed at my parent's house, their grandparents; with their grandparents, and without us.
That was lovely.
Sunday, they trotted off to church. The church where I grew up, where people still remember me as a child.
Raise your hand if you want people remembering you, from your tween and teen years.

Yes, I feel the exact same way.
ED's SS class did an exercise about likes and dislikes. They were to draw what they like, and what they don't like.
Here is a sampling of ED's drawings:
I love wrestling
He also drew another card, reading "I love art". Wish I had seen that one, and not this one. I also hope he spelled "art" correct.

Typical statement, from any kid. Nothing to be concerned about.
Now we should be concerned.
He also drew another one which read "I hate butts."
Yes well, on the bright side, people may have forgotten about me, as a child.
However, now they remember my 7-year-old, who hates babies and loves to wrestle.

I bet their some children that had even better answers. JDaniel would have said, "I hate church." He does. He wants to change to a church with better toys.
Oh my. It's so funny when they pull stuff like that. And it is always so public isn't it :)
Happy TTT!
