A Win Win: A Fundraiser for Haiti

1.) Do you like jewelry?
(Or, know someone who does like jewelry? Christmas is right around the corner.)

2.) Do you like to purchase "local"?
"small business"? "hand made"?

3.) Do you want to help raise money for orphans?

4.) Do you like this necklace?

If you answered "YES" to ANY ONE of those questions, then you need to head over to Artful Accents, and submit a bid on the above necklace, called Ludnie's Hope.

Here is the back story: Kathy, the creator of this beautiful necklace, and owner of Artful Accents, is friends with Jeane.

Jeane is part of a mission group called "Patchwork". Last summer, Patchwork traveled to Haiti, to work in OTV Village, an orphanage run by The Global Orphan Project. Patchwork is now working to raise $15,000 to build latrines, showers and a soccer field for the orphanage.

You can help Patchwork, and the children at OTV Village, by bidding on the necklace, featured above. Head over to Artful Accents' blog, and read the instructions on how to submit a bid for the necklace.

The auction will end on Thursday, October 28, at 12 noon (eastern time). Kathy will announce the winner later that day.

Happy Bidding! And, thank you for helping Ludnie, and the other orphans at OTV Village.

***If you live outside of the US, please tell her when you bid. I am unsure of Kathy's shipping policies.
