10 minutes to round up the kids, put on shoes and coats, to yell at son to stop sitting on his brother and to PLEASE put on your shoes for the umpteenth time.
5 minutes to load up the car, please buckle in, no I said SIT in your seats, is everyone buckled? What do you mean you don't have your shoes on, I told you to put them on, ... blah, blah, blah.
5 minutes of driving time.
5 minutes to unload from the car, WAIT ... I told you to stand by the car. No, you cannot run out into the middle of the parking lot. Big cars do not see little children. Hold my hand, why? Because I'm Mom.
10 minutes to maneuver from the car, through the parking lot, and into Lowe's ... would you stop looking at the books. Yes I see they have Handy Manny, no we are not buying one. Get off the riding mowers we are here to make a bird house.
It takes 15 minutes to complete the Build and Grow project. 5 minutes to exit the store. Thanks to perfectly timed lights it takes less then 5 minutes to drive home. 2 minutes to usher the kiddos into the house and out the back door. 35 seconds for Mom to pour another cup of coffee, too early for anything harder.
