Welcome, come in and enjoy some coffee, or tea, which ever is your drink of preference. It has been a crazy week here, what with another snow day and my procrastinating several projects now due.
Not much in the way of cleaning has happened at our house, except for Rachel Anne's challenges. Thank you Rachel Anne for keeping me on task, some task, any cleaning task, this week. This week's Small Things kicked off with cleaning our sinks. Yeah! This week I was supposed to be cleaning the kitchen (think Fly Lady zones) and Monday helped me to accomplish at least one kitchen project. Thursday's Small Thing moved me into the master bedroom. Perfect! Next week's zone is the master bedroom, but I think I'll mainly be in the basement cleaning since we have company coming the following weekend.
Ah, but today I will certainly be in the kitchen. Reorganizing my cabinets! Every January I take advantage of Tupperware's Module Mates sale, spend an insane amount of money, and work towards a better organized kitchen.
Yes, this is what I call fun. Yes, I agree, I need to get a life. But, I can't help it. So, after I wash the containers, dry, reorganize and label.
OHHHHH, yes! Did I mention I also label my containers. I love my label maker.
Yes, I agree. After my day of fun I need to call a therapist. I'm putting it on my to-do list for tomorrow. And, since I prograstinate I'll get to it, oh, by March.
Well, I must go. It is time to reorganize. But don't you leave. Head over to Rachel Anne's site for more Company Girl Coffee time.

Edited to add: Obviously I wrote this before reading today's Small Thing. As much as I enjoy organzing my kitchen I am challenged to step up the fun factor tonight if I want some points. Hmmm, I'm not sure that is what Rachel Anne had in mind, flirtin' with our man just for some points. And I'm not sure Hubby would appreciate it, just for some points, but he probably will get a laugh when he reads this.

I love my label maker!!
I have a book that's called "sex begins in the kitchen".... the title makes you wonder but it's about how the attitude of our hearts change when our spouse helps us out, esp in the kitchen, doing those little things with us. You just can't help but want to love them back! :) Perhaps he'll help you label your containers and then...happy cooking!
ps It's nice to meet you!!! Happy Friday...thanks for the coffee!
OK, I don't think any man is going to look a gift horse in the mouth, do you?? He ain't gonna care why you're flirting with him....go for the outrageous flirting! :)
I remember your inspiring tupperware containers! And now you label things? Oh, I must retire from my Small Things...I am such a hack. But I aspire to your organizational greatness...it sounds heavenly.
I'm going to go look for the tupperware catalog I was given a few weeks ago..thanks for the nudge!
Haha I love your comment about flirting just for points. I wrote a whole blog on how much I love points one day. :) (http://thekssblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/points-are-my-motivation.html) So don't feel bad. :)
I love your beautiful Valentine's look for your blog. Thanks for the coffee - have a blessed weekend!
My husband won't care if it's for points or not. ;)
I need a more organized kitchen! I hope you will share a post on it when you are done.
Everytime I try to organize my kitchen my kids come along and unoganize it! I LOVE having teens! I figure my kitchen will be unorganized until they all move out!
What kind of label maker do you have? I'll need to get me one one day. And a sale on Tupperware containers...very tempting... Have a great weekend.
I love my labeler too...this one came from Staples for free with a ribbon purchase! Doesn't clutter free feel good in the kitchen...I think visual clutter makes me stress when I am cooking but if things are tidy in my kitchen I could cook for days! Good to know you!
If only I could be so organized! I dream of a day where I have a bigger kitchen, uniform containers, and a label maker! :)
I need to get back to my zone cleaning. It really helps me to do my minimum maintenance, but then focus in on one "zone" a week to keep clutter away.
Blessings!
Melissa
oh tupperware! I think I have one real tupperware amongst all my cheapies.
Enjoy your labelling, thanks for the tea :)
